And Now for Something Completely Different (1971)
I Laughed
I’ve read some reviews of this film and I’m slightly surprised as to what people were expecting from AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I guess some people are more familiar with the atypical movies THE HOLY GRAIL and THE LIFE OF BRIAN rather than the groundbreaking comedy sketch show. I do admit the BBC show is a somewhat acquired taste but here we have some of the show’s funniest sketches brought to life. Favourites of mine are
Squad camp it up - Don’t come that Brigadier bit with me, I know where you’ve been two three
Hells grannies
Good job I didn’t mention the dirty knife
Nudge nudge wink wink
He’s pining for the fjords
