Do you have a partner who's stuck in the seventies?
Or maybe there's something from your childhood that you would love to see again. Well I've been rummaging through all the online shops to save your poor feet and found what I think is the most comprehensive list of shops that stock special treats for the seventies fans.
There's Spacehoppers to Texan bars, Mousetrap to autographed prints and football shirts signed by Pele.
So take a wander through my Memorabilia Mall and see what you can spot.
As this has been quite a popular area of the site I'm slowly expanding it so if you want inspiration click on the links below for the new pages as they come online.
I found this site purely by chance and had to stop for just this. I grew up with this guy and would love this for xmas. (enough of a hint you think)
I used to watch Jack and wonder how he ever caught fish because he was never looking at his float!
Now everyone loves sweets and from the amount of hits on my sweets page you're no different. Loads of old sweets here from Texans to Walnut Whips, Wham Bars to Spanish Gold. The sweet thing they do though is as you fill your basket they drop in freebies for you....ahhhh bless em.
Now what man would not want an original 1970 Brazil world cup shirt signed by the great man himself, Pele. They also have some really nice signed prints of the great man and our very own Bobby Moore. A site worth exploring for the sport enthusiast.
Firebox is a haven for all kids no matter how old. From the hand held plug n play retro games to the best prezzie an old kid like me could wish for.....a full adult size Space Hopper!!!!!! Oh and you if you want to score points with your missus, get her one of those cushtie pillows. Stop Press!! Check out their top sellers list and you will see the best thing since sliced bread for all you people out there (like me) who have still held onto their vinyl records. They have just brought out a record deck that plugs directly into your PC via a USB so you can record all your 45's etc and add them to your MP3 library. I'm gonna get one !
Ahh now here's the *sweetest* idea of them all. Did you know in the 70's girls used to send these to David Cassidy and Donny Osmond? Well now you can send these to your very own real sweatheart with all sorts of messages including Special Lovehearts for your Wedding Day.
A very interesting idea for a present here. Imagine being able to read a newspaper that was printed on the day of your birth or wedding day. Not only that they do special packages from Year books to Sporting Events. If you're interested in those bygone days, and you should be if you're here, it's well worth a look.
Letsgoretro..... well the name says it all. Soooooo many lovely things in here to look out for including the comeback of the *Slinky* plus they also have the greatest (I want one) Icon of the seventies.
The Chopper and as they were a limited edition there surely can't be many left!
The best source of everything seventies, I have bought shirts, books, my coveted Starsky Cardigan and my now prize possession platforms. What more can I say, there's so much great stuff in here I spend hours just looking through. I just wish I could buy it all.
